Be Badass Everyday

My friend and I sometimes forgot how awesome we are, so we made each other these quilts.  I know I would NEVER have made it for myself.  Foundation piecing and I have a love-hate relationship. Or maybe a hate-hate relationship.  Yeah, that.  I hate it. But I love my friend and this quilt more.  

The pattern is by HappySewLucky on Etsy. The rules were that we would use the same background (Moda Grunge Decadent) and banner (Moda Bella Solid Raspberry) but that the letters would be chosen from our stash and kept super secret until the reveal. We had a deadline of Christmas.  And then Valentine's. Then the Covid-19 lock down hit, and with all the extra sewing time, we both finished our tops.  I told her that I would quilt both of them, so they would be quilty sisters and we chose a quilt shop parking lot for a social distanced reveal and swap.

Now, neither one of us will ever forget who we are.
